Let me just say that I never authorized those (brilliant) comments by Travis Birkenstock. I can't be held responsible for everything my supporters might say. However, I would add that Drill's unwillingness to play Chinese Checkers betrays a weakness in foreign policy that America can't afford in a VP. I'll play Chinese Checkers with anyone, foreign or domestic.

It's time to stop the politics of personal destruction.

Cheryl, I'm putting the finishing touches on my autobiography, My Incredible Descent Into Humility and How I Recovered. I'll need an editor ;-)

6. is married to vindictive heir of 'Grey Poupon' mustard fortune
5. slows down slightly between 2nd and 3rd base when he hits a triple
4. gravatarly impaired

I'll support either Drill or StuBob, but I'm still waiting for, um, reasons. (Not a bribe, you understand, just an incentive.)

First it was a tight contest between Mark Roth and StuBob. Then Lynn enters a third party candidate. Maybe Lynn Vincent should be Ralph Nader's VP.

Ugh! This is terrible! My first foray into politics and I've failed (so far) to energize the base!

In the interest of preserving unity, I would consider the post of SecState. However, if McCain calls, particularly at 3AM, you're all going under the bus!

Look, as an obstetrician, I'm the perfect character for the 3AM commercial. "Who do you want answering that call? Some bleary-eyed old woman who's been asleep for hours, or a doctor who's probably up anyway?"

Thank you, Chas, for your consistent commitment.

And thank you for not being a "Yes" man by correcting my mistake. You are destined for great things in any future Roth Administration.

The Vice Presidency is spoken for (SteveS, who doesn't hang out here but should) as is the Ambassadorship to Costa Rica (PeterL, to whom I may have offered the State Secretaryship).

However, given your public display of integrity and loyalty, I think the Justice Department needs you.

StuBob, if PeterL goes to Costa Rica, would you be Secretary of State? (With Chas stedfast in his endorsement of me, you just as well join the winning team, no?)
