A story I heard

Gravatar  10 Comments

Every now and then, I hear something on NPR that I ache to post.  This morning, I heard this story, a part of the StoryCorps project, and I wanted to share it with the rest of you.  It’s short, so you can listen to the whole thing.  If you listen, let me know your thoughts on it.

Wow. Thanks for sharing, Harrison. He never says he’s a believer, but he sure acted like one.

  3. Great story. Thanks for the reminder and challenge to live this day like Christ.

    What Harris said.

I also confess that, while reaching for my wallet, I would also have been looking for an opportunity to draw my Glock and either open up on him, or at least told him, “Now git.”

    Would that have been wrong?

    Wow.

    Wonderful story. God bless him.

Frank - If you sensed the Holy Spirit urging you to talk to the young man & try to help him, then yes, it would be wrong. But if you feared for your safety & had no such urging from the Spirit, then no, it wouldn’t be wrong.
