   Maybe, just maybe, the government should stop paying farmers to let their land lie fallow. If you don’t live in farm country, you may not realize this is true. The government pays farmers to grow crops, and the government pays farmers not to grow crops. There is so much subsidization going on in agriculture, that they can’t even make up their mind what to subsidize.

   Until this week I was unsure whether Corporations actually controlled the news as some believe. This crisis has me convinced. Has anyone heard of Monsanto’s terminator seed?
